Hay fever, also called seasonal allergic rhino-conjunctivitis is one of the most common types of allergic condition which is caused when a person has an allergic reaction to pollen. A recent study showed that the addition of Vitamin D improves the efficiency of the steroid hormone in the treatment of hay fever which diminishes the hay fever symptoms. Vitamin D improves the effect of the Glucocorticoid which is a type of steroid hormone.

The research was carried out by Fuad Baroody, M.D. and his team at University of Chicago. The study involved 35 individuals suffering from hay fever, who were all treated with intranasal fluticasone propionate but these individuals were divided into two groups. Group one was given high doses of Vitamin D while the second group of individuals were given Placebo which is a non medication substance used as a control in medical experiments and tests.

The experiment was carried over a period of two weeks, during which each individual’s was checked for nasal symptoms every two days, such as nasal congestion, sneezing and itchy throat as well as the quality of the patients life.

This showed a positive result as the patients in the group that took vitamin D along with the intranasal fluticasone propionate showed improved symptoms of hay fever when compared to the patients that were given placebo. The Vitamin D levels were very high in 17 patients when compared to the patients in the other group. The result also showed that during daytime the nasal symptoms due to allergy were knowingly lower in the team that took Vitamin D compared to those who were given placebo.

Hence, the researchers met a conclusion that Vitamin D is highly effective in reducing the Hay Fever symptoms.

While steroids have been banned and looked down upon in many sports, one wonders who this is the case. How can something that seems so good; something that helps in the strengthening of the muscles be so bad? It has been used for the treatment of professional athletes- to fasten their healing process. Patients who have suffered from lumbar disc herniations (professional football players) have been treated using steroids and have managed to go back to the playing field. Lumbar disc herniation occur in sports that involve direct contact; not only football. 89% players who have been treated using steroids have gone back to their professions and have performed quite well. Still this is not 100% as there are some injuries that will need surgery and physiotherapy. Steroids have also been used for the reduction of pain in the muscles that have been injured and this means users and professional athlete who have been injured will have an easier time.

Steroids are not only used for the treatment of sports injuries, it has also managed muscle wasting diseases like HIV, which  is known to waste the muscle of the sufferer and cause them to lose strength in the long run. To increase the appetite, strength and muscle capacity of the patient, steroids are used. They are known to increase nitrogen and protein synthesis in the body of the patient, which will increase the muscle mass and strength of the patient in the long run. This has to be accompanied by dieting and exercise; as is the same case with weightlifters and other athletes. Patients who are suffering from HIV will have a transformation of their physique in no time and will have a new charge of their lives as well. The same is the case with people who are suffering from anemia. This is the condition in which a person’s red blood cell count has gone down considerably and steroids are known to increase the number of red blood cells. This will increase the oxygen capacity of the patient’s blood and this will translate to a lot of strength in the muscles as well.

Addiction towards steroids of teens is becoming a problem. According to a study done by the Michigan University “Monitoring the Future Study”, among the students of grade 12 nearly 3% of them have at least used steroids for once.  The study further tells that steroids are very easy to be obtained as per told by 40 % of the students. Lot of young men has developed habit of using steroids and interestingly not only men but number of females, in use of steroids, is also increasing day by day.

Apart from doing many positive things like building the muscles of body, reducing the fat and enhancing the performance steroids can be dangerous for the body as well and especially proves very dangerous for the teens because of the reason that their bodies are still in developing phase. Usage of steroids can hamper the development process in their bodies. Apart from this, steroids can also cause serious damage to the functionality of liver, reproductive system and the heart. In schools and high schools special lectures on the demerits of usage of steroids should be given to the teens so that they are aware of disadvantages of steroids as well.

Detectives of Murfreesboro and agents of TBI found steroids of about $500000. According to the statement given by Kyle Evans, spokesman of Murfreesboro, 15 different types of steroids were found and taken into custody. These 15 different types included fluids to be taken in with the help of injection, patches, tablets and powder. According to police they have arrested a man whose name is Leslie Parker Jr. and they say that he is perhaps one of the major person playing a very important role in the smuggling of steroids internationally. According to the authorities these illegal drugs reached to the JFK Airport in New York from China and from there with the help of US Mail it was sent to different places with in Murfreesboro. It was also sent to Suites in Crestwood where Leslie Parker Jr. had been staying. Kyle Evans further added that according to their idea, these drugs were not only distributed to Murfreesboro but to other parts of USA as well due to the fact that it is being an international smuggling gang and smuggles drugs to many parts and do not remain confined to one place.

On the other hand Storage Plex co owner Bernie Oliver said that he was kept in the dark by Parker and he was the one doing this illegal drug business without letting him (Oliver) know anything about it. Oliver said that Parker came to him along with her wife and he was in search for a storage house where he was looking to store some boxes for some days. He further added that he would not be able to condone it.

According to Murfreesboro Police this was the biggest steroids raid which they had done in the history of the department and have taken into custody the person and all the steroids found. After Parker was taken into custody he was charged with having a drug of schedule III and was also distributing it. He was also charged of having Paraphernalia drug in his possession.

This has not downed his spirit after all since he has added a lot more feathers to his cap, even after the rest of the world thought that he was getting some assistance to reach where he has.

Steroids have been used for a long time, especially anabolic steroids. Since anabolic steroids have a measure of androgenism, most people will use steroids that have a higher percentage of anabolism than androgenism so as to add more weight than to lose weight. It was her first college in Hawaii Pacific where she started weight lifting. Steroids can be used for medicinal purpose to achieve healing. A good number of steroids have been used in the process of improving the muscle mass of patients who are suffering from HIV. With regard to the healing of torn muscles and ligaments, there are two steroids that are known to have such qualities: HGH and deca-durabolin. As many of my readers already know, I don’t always like to blog about others… In fact, MOST of you know that I will often blog about MYSELF and point out all of the great qualities I have OR I may talk about my personal feelings on important issues in my own life. (Kidding!)

Well, today is one of those days folks. I want to share with you why I, Anthony Roberts, LOSE in life once again! Last week one of my websites was taken from me for reasons unknown to me and no matter how much investigating or how many people I ask, I just can’t figure out why and for what reasons.

This is now the 4th time I have lost a website to someone and for the life of me, I just don’t understand why?!! Anyway… I will continue to look into this matter and will be sure to get back to the thousands of you who want to get to the bottom of this with me.
